15 µH shielded inductor for DC-DC and signal filtering
The Murata LQH2HPN150MGRL is a wirewound, shielded inductor in the LQH2 series, offering 15 µH inductance with a ±20% tolerance. Rated at 560 mA continuous current and a saturation current of 570 mA, it is designed for surface-mount DC-DC converter input/output filtering and signal-line noise suppression.
Parametric fit for power and RF paths
The 1.11 Ω maximum DC resistance sets the I²R conduction loss — at 560 mA the self-heating is about 0.35 W, well within the 85 °C operating limit. The 20 MHz self-resonant frequency means the inductor behaves as an inductor up to about 20 MHz, after which parasitic capacitance dominates; keep the switching frequency below 5–10 MHz for clean filtering. Shielded construction reduces magnetic flux leakage into adjacent traces — important when the inductor sits near a sensitive RF front-end or a high-impedance analog signal path. The 1008 (2520 Metric) footprint is a common size; 2.50 × 2.00 mm with a 1.00 mm seated height fits tight layouts.
