The Murata DLW5BTM102SQ2L is a 2-line common mode choke in the DLW5B series, designed to filter common mode noise on both power and signal lines. It delivers 1 kOhms of impedance at 100 MHz, which is the figure that determines how much high-frequency noise it knocks down on a rail or a differential pair. With a 2 A current rating and a 34 mOhm DCR, it is sized for moderate-current DC rails where you need to keep the IR drop low while still attenuating conducted emissions.
2 A and 34 mOhm — sizing the rail
The 2 A continuous rating sets the load budget for this choke on a power rail. If your circuit pulls 1.5 A steady, you have 25% headroom, which is comfortable. The 34 mOhm max DCR means about 68 mV drop at full current — check that against your downstream regulator's minimum input voltage. For a 5 V rail feeding a 3.3 V LDO, it is fine; for a 3.3 V rail feeding a 1.8 V core rail, the margin gets tight. The 50 V DC voltage rating gives plenty of headroom for 12 V or 24 V industrial buses.
It is not AEC-Q200 qualified, so it is not the pick for under-hood automotive or engine-bay environments. For a motor drive cabinet or a base station power supply that sees 70°C internal ambient, it is within spec.
