Obsolete part — sourcing through independent channels
Murata has marked the DFEH12060D-4R7M=P3 as obsolete.
Parametric profile for the BOM line
Rated 10 A continuous with a saturation current of 14 A — the margin between rated and saturation current gives headroom for transient spikes without the inductance collapsing. DC resistance is 11 mOhm max, keeping I²R losses low in a 10 A rail. At full rated current, the resistive loss is about 1.1 W — factor this into the thermal budget for the nonstandard 13.00 mm × 12.60 mm package. Inductance is 4.7 µH ±20% at 100 MHz test frequency. The iron powder core and shielded construction keep EMI in check and the inductance stable under DC bias.
Board-fit and handling notes
Surface-mount package in the nonstandard 13.00 mm × 12.60 mm footprint, seated height 6.00 mm. The iron powder core is not a ferrite — it saturates more softly, which matters for the reflow profile and the pick-and-place nozzle selection. Supplied on tape and reel (cut tape also available).
