Parametric profile and fit
The Murata DFEG12060D-5R6M=P3 is a 5.6 µH shielded power inductor from the DFEG12060D series, rated for 10 A continuous current with a saturation current floor of 13 A. The 11 mOhm max DCR keeps conduction losses low enough that the part can carry its full rated current without exceeding the 125°C temperature ceiling in a typical 85°C ambient. Shielded construction with an iron powder core contains the magnetic field, so it can sit adjacent to other magnetics or sensitive analog circuitry without crosstalk.
Automotive-grade qualification
AEC-Q200 qualification means this inductor has passed the full suite of stress tests required for automotive electronics: temperature cycling, moisture resistance, mechanical shock, and vibration. The nonstandard surface-mount package — 13.00 mm x 12.60 mm with a 6.00 mm seated height — uses a large ferrite footprint to handle the 10 A current without saturating the core. The iron powder material gives a soft saturation curve, so the inductance rolls off gradually above the rated current rather than collapsing abruptly.
Sourcing reality for an obsolete line
Murata has marked the DFEG12060D-5R6M=P3 as obsolete.
