The DFE252012P-4R7M=P2 is a shielded wirewound drum-core inductor from Murata's DFE252012P series, built with an iron powder core and flat-wire winding. Rated for 1.4 A continuous with a saturation current floor of 2 A, the part provides headroom for transient loads — the inductor will not saturate until the peak current exceeds 2 A, which is the point where inductance drops sharply. The 200 mOhm maximum DCR sets the I²R conduction loss at 0.4 W at full rated current, a figure the 1008 (2520 metric) package can dissipate in still air with reasonable PCB copper.
