The DFE252012F-R68M=P2 is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor from Murata's DFE252012F series, built with a flat-wire winding on an iron-powder core. The 680 nH ±20% inductance is tested at 1 MHz. Rated current is 3.9 A, with a saturation current of 5.4 A — the inductor stays within its linear region up to the saturation limit, so a 3.9 A DC rail with 20% ripple peak still leaves margin before the inductance drops off.
Active production and supply posture
The DFE252012F series is a standard power inductor family with multiple inductance values in the same footprint, so a BOM change to a different value within the series shares the same PCB land pattern.
