The Murata DFE201612PD-1R0M=P2 is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor in the DFE201612P series, rated 1 µH ±20% with a continuous current of 2.2 A and a saturation current of 2.7 A. Its 60 mOhm max DCR keeps conduction losses low in point-of-load regulators, and the metal composite core handles the saturation margin without hard roll-off — a 0.5 A headroom above the rated current means the inductance holds up under transient load steps.
AEC-Q200 qualification and operating envelope
The shielded construction contains the magnetic field, reducing EMI coupling to nearby traces or components — a practical advantage when routing the inductor close to a switching node on a dense PCB.
