Continuous current rating is 1.2 A, with a saturation current of 1.8 A — the part delivers full inductance up to the saturation knee, so a 1.5 A peak transient stays within the linear region. Maximum DC resistance is 252 mOhm, which sets the I²R conduction loss at 1.2 A to about 363 mW — within the thermal budget of the 0806 footprint at 85°C ambient.
Shielded metal-core construction
