The DFE201210U-R33M=P2 is a shielded wirewound power inductor from Murata's DFE201210U series, built on a metal-alloy drum core and rated for 3.4 A continuous DC current in the 0805 footprint. That 3.4 A figure is the thermal limit — the point where self-heating from the 31 mOhm max DCR raises the winding temperature to the rated ceiling. At full current the copper loss alone is about 0.36 W, and the metal core runs cooler than ferrite at high ripple frequencies, so the part doesn't saturate before it gets hot. The saturation current is 5.2 A — that is the DC bias where inductance drops by roughly 30%. In a buck converter output filter the peak inductor current (DC plus ripple) should stay below this to keep the ripple within design. The 330 nH value suits switching frequencies above 1 MHz where small inductance works with low output voltage ripple.
