Board-level noise suppression for signal lines
The Murata BLM15HD601SH1D is a single-line ferrite bead from the EMIFIL® BLM15 series, packaged in a standard 0402 (1005 Metric) footprint. It provides 600 Ohms of impedance at 100 MHz, sized for suppressing conducted EMI on signal traces where the DC bias current stays under 300 mA.
DC resistance and current ceiling
The 850 mOhm maximum DCR sets the voltage drop and self-heating at the rated 300 mA — at full current the DC loss is about 255 mV and the I²R dissipation is 76.5 mW, well within the 0402 body's thermal budget in still air.
