What 600 Ohms at 100 MHz means on the bench
This Murata EMIFIL BLM15BX601SN1D is a single-line ferrite bead in the 0402 package, rated 600 Ohms impedance at 100 MHz. That 600 Ohm peak is where it knocks down conducted noise — think clock harmonics, switching-regulator ripple, or RF coupling on a signal trace. At lower frequencies the impedance drops off, so it leaves your wanted signal alone while shunting high-frequency trash to ground.
Current and DCR — the practical limits
Rated 350 mA continuous current and a max DC resistance of 460 milliohms. That DCR means a 350 mA load drops about 160 mV and dissipates 56 mW — fine for a logic-level signal or a low-power rail, but you wouldn't run a 3.3 V supply line through it without checking the voltage budget. The 0402 body sheds that heat into the board copper; keep the trace width generous to the pad.
