1 kOhm at 100 MHz, 0402 body
The Murata BLM15BX102SN1D is a single-line ferrite bead from the EMIFIL® BLM15 series, housed in an 0402 (1005 metric) package for surface-mount assembly. It delivers 1 kOhm impedance at 100 MHz, rated for 300 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 650 mOhm.
What the ratings mean on the bench
The 1 kOhm impedance at 100 MHz targets conducted EMI on signal lines — think I/O traces, clock lines, or supply rails for noise-sensitive analog stages. The 300 mA current rating sets the ceiling for the trace it sits on; the 650 mOhm DCR drops about 195 mV at full current, so keep that IR drop in the supply budget if you're filtering a power rail. The impedance curve shifts with temperature — expect about 10% drop at 125°C, typical for NiZn ferrite cores.
