470 Ω at 100 MHz — where the impedance matters
The BLM15BD471SN1D is a single-line ferrite bead from Murata's EMIFIL® BLM15 series, delivering 470 Ohms impedance at 100 MHz. That impedance peak is where common-mode switching noise from a nearby DC-DC converter or digital bus lives — the bead presents a resistive loss at that frequency, dissipating the noise as heat rather than reflecting it back onto the rail. Rated for 200 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 600 mOhm. The voltage drop across the bead at full rated current is 120 mV — budget this into the rail tolerance if the bead sits on a low-voltage supply like 1.8 V or 1.2 V.
0402 footprint and temperature envelope
Operating temperature range spans -55°C to +125°C, covering industrial and automotive ambient conditions. No derating curve is published in the spec record, but the 125°C ceiling is the junction/body limit — the 200 mA current rating should be derated above 85°C per standard ferrite practice.
