600 Ohm at 100 MHz — what it cleans up
The BLM15AX601SN1D is a single-line ferrite bead from Murata's EMIFIL® BLM15 series, offering 600 Ohms impedance at 100 MHz. That impedance peak sits right in the middle of the common switching-noise band for DC-DC converters and digital logic — it attenuates conducted emissions around the fundamental and first few harmonics of a 100 MHz clock or a 1-2 MHz switcher's ringing.
500 mA continuous — derate for the drop
Rated for 500 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 340 mOhm. At full rated current the resistive drop is 170 mV — that voltage loss sits between the supply rail and the load, so a 3.3 V rail sees about 3.13 V at the bead output under full load. For a 1.8 V rail the drop is proportionally larger, so check the load's minimum supply voltage before committing the BOM line.
