Two-port USB 3.2 hub controller in a 7x7 QFN
The USB5742B-I/2G is a two-port USB hub controller from Microchip that supports both USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 — the 5 Gbps SuperSpeed lane plus the legacy 480 Mbps path live on the same downstream port. It talks to the upstream host over SMBus or SPI for configuration, which is the typical hook for an embedded system that needs to enumerate the hub's topology at boot without a dedicated EEPROM.
Supplied in tray packaging, which is the standard for pick-and-place lines that run QFN strips — no reel fee, but the tray count sets the minimum order increment.
