That threshold targets 5V rails — a typical 5V ±10% supply dips to 4.5V, and this part catches it before the downstream logic sees a brownout. The active-high, push-pull output drives the reset pin of most MCUs and SoCs directly; no external pull-up resistor is needed.
Industrial temperature grade — where it works and where it doesn't
