Temperature trip point and output behaviour
The TC6504N015VCTTR: This thermostat switches its output Active High when the die temperature drops below -15°C (the trip threshold), with a ±4°C accuracy band that covers process and temperature variation across the full operating range. The push-pull output stage can source or sink up to 20 mA, enough to drive a logic input, an indicator LED, or a small relay coil directly without an external buffer transistor. Selectable hysteresis prevents output chatter near the trip point — the designer chooses the hysteresis band via an external pin connection, avoiding false triggers from thermal cycling on the PCB.
Supply voltage and operating range
The -55°C to +135°C operating temperature range suits cold-chain monitoring, freezer alarm circuits, and industrial equipment that must function in low-temperature environments.
