100 mA LDO for 1.8 V logic rails
The TC1073-1.8VCH713: With 64 dB PSRR at 1 kHz, this LDO attenuates ripple from a switching preregulator by a factor of ~1600, keeping the 1.8 V rail clean for sensitive analog or digital loads. Quiescent current is 80 µA typical — low enough for always-on domains in battery-powered equipment, though not the ultra-low-Iq class used in micropower wake circuits.
Industrial temperature and protection
The SOT-23-6 package keeps the footprint small — useful for space-constrained PCBs near the load. Built-in over-current and over-temperature protection guard against output shorts or excessive ambient heat. The Enable pin allows the system to shut down the regulator when the load is idle, cutting the 80 µA quiescent draw to near zero.
Maximum input voltage is 6 V, so it tolerates a 5 V rail with margin. The fixed 1.8 V output suits 1.8 V logic families, MCU I/O banks, or sensor bias supplies.
