The TC1047AVNBTR is an analog local temperature sensor from Microchip Technology that outputs a voltage proportional to temperature at 10 mV/°C. At 25°C the output sits at 750 mV typical, scaling linearly to 1.75 V at 125°C and 0.1 V at -40°C. That means a 10-bit ADC with a 2.5 V reference resolves about 0.25°C per LSB — enough for board-level thermal monitoring without an I²C or SPI bus.
