What this TVS diode protects and how it clamps
Its reverse standoff voltage of 130V means it stays off the circuit during normal operation, only conducting when a surge pushes the line above its breakdown threshold. The clamping voltage peaks at 209V at a peak pulse current of 7.2A, which is the ceiling the downstream components see — keep that below your rail components' absolute maximum ratings.
Package, mounting, and temperature range
Housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package, surface-mount with a large copper pad for heat sinking. Store the reels dry; the DO-214AB body is not moisture-sensitive per typical MSL 1, but verify the date code if the reel has been opened.
Lifecycle and sourcing status
This is a current-production part you can design in without worrying about a last-time buy window closing. For BOM quantities, we source this against an RFQ.
