Clamping threshold and transient immunity margin
Its 100V reverse standoff voltage and 111V minimum breakdown voltage define the normal operating ceiling; the 162V maximum clamping voltage sets the transient suppression limit. For a 100V rail, the 62V clamp-to-standoff margin absorbs inductive spikes and surge events without exceeding the downstream component's absolute maximum rating.
Package and mounting for board-level protection
Housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package, the device sits on a standard JEDEC footprint with a cathode tab that doubles as the thermal pad.
