Transient protection for 24V rails
Rated at 600W peak pulse power for a 10/1000µs waveform, the device can absorb 12A peak pulse current before the clamp voltage reaches 50V maximum. That clamp margin — 50V on a 28V rail — gives downstream converters and ICs a survivable voltage envelope during a transient.
Temperature range and package
The unidirectional configuration protects a single polarity rail; for AC or bidirectional lines, a pair back-to-back or a dedicated bidirectional part is needed.
