Zener TVS for 100V rail protection
Its 111V minimum breakdown voltage and 179V maximum clamping at 3.4A define the protection window for downstream circuitry.
Clamping voltage and pulse current
The 179V clamping voltage at 3.4A peak pulse current sets the maximum voltage the protected load sees during a transient. For a 100V rail, this leaves an 79V margin above the nominal — adequate for most 100V-rated semiconductors, but check the downstream device's absolute maximum rating. The 111V minimum breakdown ensures the device starts conducting before the rail exceeds safe limits. No power-line protection means this is a standalone TVS, not a filtered or coordinated protection array.
Supplied in Tape & Reel for surface-mount assembly.
Temperature range and storage
The wide range means the TVS can be placed near hot components or in outdoor enclosures without derating the clamping performance.
