Transient protection for 7.5V rails
The SMAJ7.5CE3/TR13 is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Microchip Technology, designed to clamp transients on a 7.5V nominal rail. Its 14.3V maximum clamping voltage at 35A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform) limits the voltage seen by the protected circuit during an ESD or surge event. Rated for 500W peak pulse power, this part handles moderate surge energy in general-purpose applications such as power supply inputs, signal lines, and I/O ports.
