Active production — 60V rail clamp in a hand-solderable SMA package
The SMAJ60CE3/TR13: It protects a single 60V rail with a reverse standoff voltage of 60V and clamps transients to 107V at 4.7A peak pulse. The 500W peak pulse power rating covers common surge events on industrial and general-purpose DC buses.
Minimum breakdown voltage is 66.7V, giving a 6.7V headroom above the 60V standoff — enough to avoid nuisance triggering on normal rail ripple. The 107V clamp at 4.7A is the maximum voltage the protected circuitry sees during a 10/1000µs surge. For a 60V nominal rail, that clamp margin is typical for a 500W-class TVS.
