TVS clamp for 6.5 V DC rails
It clamps at 11.2 V max when conducting 44.7 A peak pulse current — that clamping ceiling tells you the downstream circuitry must survive that voltage for the pulse duration. The 6.5 V reverse standoff is the maximum DC voltage the line can sit at without the diode conducting leakage; the 7.22 V minimum breakdown is where avalanche starts.
Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR), it feeds directly into a pick-and-place line; check the MSL level before the reflow profile to avoid moisture-related delamination.
The base product number is SMAJ6.5; the suffix indicates the lead-free / RoHS-compliant finish.
