16-bit MCU with XLP technology for battery-conscious designs
The Microchip PIC24FV16KA304-I/PT is a 16-bit PIC® XLP™ 24F series microcontroller built for low-power and wide-voltage applications. It runs at 32 MHz, carries 16 KB of Flash program memory, 2 KB of RAM, and 512 bytes of EEPROM — enough for sensor fusion, control loops, and configuration storage without external memory.
Peripheral set and connectivity
On the peripheral side, this MCU includes a 16-channel 12-bit ADC for multi-sensor acquisition, plus Brown-out Detect/Reset, HLVD, POR, PWM, and WDT for robust operation. The 38 I/O pins in a 44-TQFP package give good pin density for a medium-complexity board.
