The Microchip PIC24FJ64GL302-I/ML is a 16-bit PIC microcontroller built for automotive and industrial control applications where an on-chip LCD segment driver and DMA controller reduce the CPU load during display updates. 64 KB Flash, 8K x 8 RAM — firmware headroom
Program memory is 64 KB of Flash (64K x 8), which comfortably fits an automotive bootloader, a LIN protocol stack, LCD driver routines, and application code for a cluster or HVAC panel. The 8K x 8 SRAM leaves room for a modest call stack and a few hundred bytes of frame buffer for the LCD segments.
