64 MHz 8-bit PIC core with XLP technology
The Microchip PIC18F56Q43-E/6LX is an 8-bit MCU from the PIC® XLP™ 18F family, built around a 64 MHz PIC core.
The 125°C ceiling also provides margin for self-heating in a sealed enclosure with limited airflow.
On-chip analog and connectivity mix
A 43-channel 12-bit ADC covers multi-sensor acquisition — thermistors, potentiometers, current-shunt amplifiers — without an external mux. The single 8-bit DAC provides one analog output for set-point generation or simple waveform synthesis. The peripheral set includes Brown-out Detect, Low-Voltage Detect, POR, PWM, and WDT, which together handle supply monitoring, power sequencing, and fail-safe reset without external supervisor ICs. The UART and SPI also serve industrial sensor hubs and simple HMI panels.
