The 28 KB program space (16K x 14 words) is sized for mid-complexity firmware — think sensor fusion algorithms, LIN slave stacks, or PWM-based motor control loops. The 2 KB data RAM limits buffering: you can hold a few hundred sensor readings or a modest command queue, but not a full frame buffer or heavy data logging without external memory.
