At 3.3 V the 32 MHz core runs with zero wait states on Flash access for most instructions; the internal oscillator is trimmed to ±1% accuracy typical, so many designs skip the external crystal entirely. The 1.8 V floor allows battery-powered operation down to two alkaline cells or a single Li-ion cell near end-of-discharge.
The 85°C ceiling is the standard industrial maximum; if the application sees sustained junction temperatures above that, a higher-temperature-grade PIC variant would be needed.
