8 MHz internal oscillator — no crystal needed
The Microchip PIC12F519-I/MS is an 8-bit PIC core MCU clocked at 8 MHz via an internal oscillator, saving a board slot and the BOM cost of an external crystal or resonator. Program memory is 1.5 KB Flash (1K x 12 words), with 41 x 8 bytes of RAM — enough for a few state variables or a lookup table in a simple control loop.
Supply range: 2V to 5.5V — one rail, no regulator
Five general-purpose I/O lines (POR, WDT peripherals included) handle simple switch sensing, LED drive, or low-speed serial bit-banging.
