Fixed 3.3V LDO for noise-sensitive rails
The Microchip MIC5363-3.3YMT-TR is a single-output, fixed 3.3V positive linear regulator rated for 300 mA continuous output.
Dropout and quiescent current — the real BOM numbers
Maximum dropout voltage is 0.38 V at the full 300 mA load, so a 3.6 V input rail leaves only 0.22 V of headroom — tight but workable if the input is regulated. Quiescent current sits at 53 µA typical, which keeps the part viable for battery-powered or always-on subsystems without wasting standby power.
Temperature range and protection
On-chip protection includes over-current and over-temperature shutdown, so it can survive a sustained short on the output without external foldback circuitry.
Housed in a 6-TMLF package measuring 1.2 x 1.2 mm with an exposed pad, the part demands a well-designed thermal land on the PCB to dissipate heat. The enable pin allows external on/off control; leave it floating or tie it high for normal operation.
ROHS3 compliant.
