The MIC5310-GFYML-TR is a dual-output LDO from Microchip Technology, delivering 150 mA per channel from a fixed 1.5V and 1.8V output pair. The 0.1V dropout at full load means the input rail can sit as low as 1.6V for the 1.5V output and still hold regulation — useful when the supply is a battery near its end-of-discharge voltage. PSRR runs 70 dB at 1 kHz, tapering to 65 dB at 20 kHz. That 5 dB roll-off across the audio band means the regulator attenuates switching ripple from a upstream DC-DC converter by a factor of roughly 3000 at 1 kHz and 1800 at 20 kHz — enough to keep noise off sensitive analog loads like a codec or sensor front-end without a post-filter.
The 8-MLF package (2x2 mm) with exposed pad requires a thermal land on the PCB to pull heat from the die; the datasheet's recommended footprint is the reference for the solder stencil aperture.
Temperature range and quiescent draw
Quiescent current is 120 µA typical, rising to 190 µA maximum under all load and temperature conditions. For a battery-powered device that spends most of its time in a low-power state, that Iq is the floor the system sees when the outputs are lightly loaded. Protection features include over-current and over-temperature shutdown. The Enable pin lets a system controller sequence the two rails independently — useful when the 1.5V core rail must come up before the 1.8V I/O rail, or vice versa.
