150 mA LDO with 0.1 V dropout — fit for tight headroom rails
The MIC5301-3.3YMT-TR: The 0.1 V maximum dropout at full load means the input can sit as low as 3.4 V and still hold regulation — useful when a 3.6 V Li-ion cell is near end-of-discharge. PSRR measures 75 dB at 1 kHz, rolling off to 50 dB at 20 kHz. That 75 dB at audio-band frequencies suppresses ripple from a switching pre-regulator before it reaches a sensitive analog load — a MEMS sensor or an audio codec on the same board sees cleaner rails without an extra LC filter.
Package and thermal — 6-TMLF with exposed pad
Housed in a 6-UFDFN with exposed pad (6-TMLF, 1.6x1.6 mm body), the part is surface-mount only. The Enable pin lets a system-level GPIO shut down the output to near-zero current. Quiescent current is 120 µA in active mode — not ultra-low for a battery always-on rail, but acceptable for a peripheral supply that stays powered during operation.
