PSRR profile for noise-sensitive rails
Power-supply rejection ratio is 63 dB at 10 Hz, rolling off to 48 dB at 10 kHz. This means the regulator attenuates low-frequency ripple (e.g., 100/120 Hz from a rectified line) by a factor of roughly 1400×, while higher-frequency switching noise above 10 kHz sees less than 250× rejection. For an analog supply rail powering a precision ADC or op-amp front-end, the upstream converter's switching frequency should be kept below 10 kHz, or additional post-filtering is needed to suppress the residual ripple.
Temperature grade and protection
Built-in over-current, over-temperature, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection means the regulator shuts down before the die exceeds the safe operating area; no external crowbar or thermal cutoff is required for fault conditions within the ratings.
Supplied in a 5-lead SOT-23 (SC-74A) package, also designated as supplier device package SOT-23-5. The 0.95 mm pitch and 2.9 mm × 1.6 mm footprint fit into space-constrained layouts — common for handheld or sensor-module PCBs where a 3 V rail powers the MCU or RF front-end. The enable pin (active-high) allows the regulator to be gated by a GPIO, cutting the 150 µA quiescent current to near zero in sleep mode.
