The MCP47CVB01-E/UN is an 8-bit digital-to-analog converter from Microchip Technology, delivering a voltage-buffered output through a current-source architecture. It communicates over an I²C interface, making it a straightforward add-on for any microcontroller with a spare I²C bus — no extra pins needed beyond SDA and SCL. With a typical settling time of 16 µs, this DAC can update its output fast enough for audio-level control loops or closed-loop bias adjustments in sensor front-ends. The ±0.1 LSB INL and DNL figures mean the output lands within a fraction of a least-significant bit of the ideal value — no missing codes, no surprises when you step through the full 256-count range.
