12-bit SAR ADC with 1 MSPS throughput
The MCP33141D-10-E/MS is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Microchip Technology, sampling at 1 MSPS over a single differential input. The SPI data interface keeps the pin count low — four wires plus the analog supply — which is why it fits the 10-MSOP package.
Housed in a 10-MSOP (3.00 mm width) surface-mount package, the ADC uses an external voltage reference — no internal bandgap. The 0:1 S/H:ADC ratio means the sample-and-hold is integrated into the conversion cycle; no external track-and-hold needed. The tube packaging suits low-to-medium volume assembly, but the MSOP footprint is standard and reflow-friendly.
