10-bit SAR ADC with I²C — fit for space-constrained analog inputs
The MCP3021A0T-E/OT: This is a 10-bit successive-approximation ADC with a single-ended input, sampling at 22.3k samples per second — fast enough for DC measurement, temperature monitoring, or slow-changing sensor signals in a control loop. The I²C data interface keeps the pin count low; the part communicates over two wires and leaves the remaining processor pins free for other tasks.
Housed in a 5-lead SOT-23 (SC-74A) package, the ADC occupies minimal board area and suits dense mixed-signal layouts where every square millimeter counts.
