Product details

Multi-topology PWM controller with I²C trim — AEC-Q100 grade

The MCP19114-E/MQ is a multi-topology PWM controller from Microchip Technology, supporting Boost, Cuk, Flyback, and SEPIC converter designs with a single output transistor driver. Switching frequency is programmable from 31.25 kHz to 2 MHz via the I²C serial interface, which also handles output voltage trim and fault monitoring — no external resistor divider for frequency setpoint, so the BOM count stays low for a compact 28-QFN 5x5 mm layout.

Active production — ROHS3, no synchronous rectifier

The controller does not include an internal synchronous rectifier driver — the output stage drives an external transistor, so the designer selects the rectification scheme (diode or sync FET) at the system level.
