40-bit serial-to-parallel with 240V output swing
The HV7224PG-G is a 40-bit serial-to-parallel shift register from Microchip Technology, delivering a 240V output swing from a 4.5V to 5.5V logic supply. This makes it suitable for driving high-voltage display segments, piezoelectric actuators, or MEMS mirror arrays where the control logic runs at standard 5V but the load requires tens to hundreds of volts. The 40-bit depth means a single device can latch 40 parallel output lines from a serial data stream — enough to drive a 5×8 character matrix or a 40-channel high-voltage bias array without cascading multiple shift registers.
Industrial temperature and package fit
Housed in a 64-BQFP (64-PQFP 20×14 mm) surface-mount package supplied in tray format. The 0.80 mm pitch QFP footprint is a standard layout for medium-density I/O — the board fan-out is manageable on a 4-layer PCB without micro-vias.
Sourced to order against RFQ through independent distribution channels.
