The DSC8121CM1: You must program it with a Microchip programmer or order factory-programmed variants under a different order code. This blank stock gives a storeroom keeper flexibility: one SKU covers any frequency in the 10 MHz to 170 MHz range, as long as you have the programming gear.
Temperature grade and supply tolerance
Total frequency stability is ±50 ppm, covering temperature, aging, and supply variation. For a 100 MHz clock, that is ±5 kHz — tight enough for most microcontroller and interface timing budgets.
The footprint is standard for MEMS oscillators and compatible with many quartz XO footprints in the same size — a layout swap without board respin is possible if the pinout matches.
