Programmable frequency, HCSL output
The DSC8104DI5-PROGRAMMABLE: This oscillator covers a 10 MHz to 460 MHz frequency range, programmable to the exact frequency needed for the target clock tree. The HCSL output (High-Speed Current Steering Logic) is the standard for PCIe reference clocks and other high-speed serial interfaces, delivering low jitter and controlled swing without external termination resistors.
In a telematics unit or sensor node that sleeps between events, this avoids a separate load switch on the oscillator rail. Active draw is 42 mA max at full frequency.
