MEMS oscillator with LVPECL drive for high-speed clock trees
The DSC8102AI2T: The LVPECL signalling provides the differential swing and fast edge rates needed for clocking high-speed ADCs, FPGAs, and SerDes interfaces where single-ended CMOS would introduce jitter. The 58 mA maximum supply current at full output load is typical for a LVPECL buffer at these frequencies.
Blank-programmable MEMS resonator and standby power-down
The device ships blank (user must program), meaning the end frequency is set during production programming, not at the factory. This allows a single BOM line to cover multiple frequency variants by programming at the last stage of assembly. For battery-backed or ignition-controlled modules, this lets the oscillator sleep between active sessions without a separate power switch.
Package footprint and tape-and-reel delivery
The land pattern matches standard 7x5 mm oscillator footprints, so it drops into existing layouts without a board spin. Supplied in tape and reel (TR) — the reel quantity suits automated pick-and-place for medium-to-high volume production runs.
