Programmable frequency and standby power-down
The DSC8101CI2T: The device ships blank (user-programmable), meaning the output frequency is set during board-level programming rather than at the factory — a design-in advantage when the final frequency is decided late in the BOM freeze or when one PCB layout serves multiple speed grades. Frequency stability is ±25 ppm, tight enough for CAN, Ethernet, or USB clocking without external trimming. Maximum active current is 35 mA at full rated frequency, a reasonable budget for a MEMS oscillator driving a CMOS load.
