38 MHz MEMS XO — now obsolete
The DSC6331MI1BA-038.0000: Microchip has marked this part obsolete.
Supply flexibility and spread-spectrum
Spread-spectrum bandwidth is ±0.50% center spread, which reduces peak EMI emissions at the fundamental frequency by spreading the energy over a narrow band. This helps pass radiated-emission limits without adding ferrite beads or shielding. Typical current draw is 3 mA at no load — low enough for battery-powered edge nodes that run a 38 MHz clock continuously.
