27 MHz MEMS XO — fixed-frequency reference for digital clock trees
The DSC6331MI1BA-027.0000T: At 27 MHz, this oscillator is a common reference for Ethernet PHYs, USB controllers, and SoC clock trees that require a clean, fixed-frequency source.
Industrial temperature grade and spread-spectrum EMI reduction
The ±0.50% center-spread spread-spectrum modulation reduces peak radiated emissions at the fundamental 27 MHz carrier by spreading the energy over a wider frequency band. For a design that must pass FCC or CE radiated-emissions limits, this can reduce the need for shielding or ferrite beads on the clock trace. Typical current draw is 3 mA — low enough for battery-powered edge nodes where every microamp counts. The MEMS resonator's lower drive current versus a quartz oscillator contributes to this figure.
Package footprint and assembly fit
The 2.00mm x 1.60mm 4-SMD no-lead package (0.90mm seated height) fits into compact PCB layouts where board real estate is at a premium.
