Dual-frequency MEMS oscillator — obsolete, sourced per RFQ
The DSC6122CI2A-00AVT: These exact frequencies target broadcast video clocking — 74.1758 MHz corresponds to 59.94 Hz field-rate systems (NTSC-derived), while 74.25 MHz serves 60 Hz progressive-scan (SMPTE 274M) and 50 Hz (SMPTE 295M) standards. Having both on one die eliminates a second oscillator and its associated PCB routing. Microchip has marked this part Obsolete. The date-code and lot traceability are verified before shipment; the laser-etched marking on the VDFN package is the primary authenticity check against re-marked stock.
Supply and temperature — wide margin for mixed-voltage designs
This is useful when the oscillator must straddle a voltage-domain boundary — e.g., feeding a 1.8 V FPGA bank and a 3.3 V video serializer from the same device. The CMOS output drives standard logic inputs directly; no external termination or level translation is needed for sub-100 MHz clock distribution.
