50 MHz + 100 MHz from one slot — saves a second oscillator
The DSC6122CI2A-00AU: Having both 50 MHz and 100 MHz on the same die means a single oscillator can clock an MCU core at 100 MHz and a peripheral bus at 50 MHz, or feed two separate devices, freeing up a board position and reducing BOM line count. The CMOS output is compatible with most digital logic families — no termination network needed for short traces. Typical supply current is 3 mA — low enough for battery-operated designs, though not the industry's lowest figure for MEMS oscillators.
