The DSC6101ML3B-027.0000T: Pin 1 is marked by a chamfered corner on the package — visible under a 10× loupe after reflow. The 0.50 mm pad pitch is forgiving for hand placement; just align the chamfer to the silkscreen dot.
The small thermal mass makes it easy to rework with a hot-air station at 260°C peak; the chamfered corner marks pin 1 clearly.
